The Cardinals are 4-0 and have been one of the teams creating the biggest buzz over the first four weeks. In particular, the Arizona defense has put on some immense displays over the past month, which made people stand up and take notice.

The Cardinals' start to the season has surprised many, and few believed they had what it takes to make the playoffs at the beginning of the season, but some are now starting to believe.

However, Arizona's head coach Ken Whisenhunt has insisted he was always confident they would do well: "We are a good team. We play well together and our guys make plays."

The injury to John Skelton has allowed Kevin Kolb come into the team and his performances have been one of the main reasons for the Cardinals' success till now. The quarterback has thrown seven touchdowns, and suffered just two interceptions.

But despite some impressive moves on the offense, the Cardinals clearly have their defensive team to thank for being where they currently are. Arizona are currently third in the league defensively, allowing just 15.3 points on average per game.

The Patriots and Eagles have already experienced the strength of the Cardinals' defensive line up, managing to score just 24 points, resulting in them both suffering losses.

The Rams, meanwhile, might be in for another long season, following on from last year, which was one of the worst in franchise history. Things shouldn't be as bad, as they have already tied their record of two wins that they managed to record last season. Their renewed success has mostly been thanks to their ability to force turnovers. They have forced an impressive eight turnovers this season, and are amazingly only second to Chicago in that department, who have 11 to their name.

The Rams currently sit at 2-2, and if they can get a surprise win today it could act as a springboard to further success going into the second quarter of the regular season.
