New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow and actress Camilla Belle have allegedly broken up, according to reports.
Tim Tebow appears to be having a bad week. With rumors revolving that the quarterback is looking to be transferred from the Jets, a new report has come forward alleging a breakup between him and girlfriend Camilla Belle.
Tebow and Belle have been dating for two month, but sources told Us Weekly Magazine that things "just didn't work out." The couple's relationship was first hinted at near the end of October, when the pair was seen bowling in Florida alongside friends.
"They were grabbing kisses and holding hands . . . They were having a great time together," a witness told the magazine during a previous interview.
On Tuesday, Jets coach Rex Ryan also dropped a bombshell on the second string quarterback, when he announced that he would be benching starting quarterback Mark Sanchez. But instead of giving Tebow a long awaited opportunity to start, Ryan decided instead to play third string quarterback Greg McElroy.
Ryan gave no reason as to why he had skipped over Tebow other than a "gut feeling."

"I can answer this question a million ways- frontward, backward, sideways, anything else," Ryan said late Tuesday in a conference call with reporters. "It's my decision and I based it on a gut feeling or whatever. Everything it comes down to is, I believe it's the best decision for our team. That's the only factor that goes into these decisions."
Later reports suggested that Tebow was considering placing a request to be transferred or freed from his contract with the Jets at the end of the season, a source told the New York Daily News.
Tebow has not made any public statements regarding the incident.
