Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos’ QB, said he was not upset by Detroit Lions players mimicking his now famed “tebowing” stance, after some questioned if the act was mocking his faith.

"He was just celebrating, having fun with his teammates and I don't take offense to that," Tebow said in an ESPN report concerning Detroit linebacker Stephen Tulloch “Tebowing.”

Jemele Hill, ESPN reporter, was very vocal about her opposition to Tulloch’s actions though, and said the QB’s faith should be off limits to opponents.

“Ridicule Tim Tebow for his slow release, for missing open receivers, for throwing passes that sail out of bounds, and for sometimes dancing in the pocket like someone put a firecracker in his cleats,” Hill wrote. “That's fair game. But mocking Tebow's Christian beliefs is not.”

However, Tulloch took to Twitter to explain that his actions may have been take out of context.

“Football is a form of entertainment," Tulloch tweeted, agreeing with Tebow’s sentiments. "Have a sense of humor. I wasn't mocking GOD!"

One thing Tebow did not find funny was his game, after being sacked 13 times in his two starts ESPN reported.

"I was bothered that I gave up a sack and that I didn't break the tackle," Tebow said. "That bothered me."

However, the Broncos’ QB maintained that the most important thing to him was avoiding losses.

"Ultimately, it's about winning games. I don't really care how it looks or what we do, as long as we win," Tebow said concerning the upcoming game with Oakland.

The QB said he is in good health after a tough game last Sunday.

“My body feels really good," Tebow said, according to ESPN. "But ultimately, you know, you want to be smart and not take a lot of hits, especially big-time hits or flip over people and land on your head in games, you don't want to do too much of that."
