Timothy Bradley News: 'Desert Storm' foresees third fight with Pacquiao

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is actually open to the possibility of facing eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao for the third time.

"Desert Storm" put on what is believed by many as one of his finest performances on Saturday night, when he stopped former WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios in nine rounds at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The 29-year old Rios was forced into retirement right after the fight. Speaking to Boxingscene.com, Bradley remains to be in high spirits following his big victory. He also mentioned about the possibility of facing old rival Manny Pacquiao for the third time, adding it would be a different scenario now that he is under the tutelage of former Mike Tyson trainer Teddy Atlas.

"He would come up with a masterful game plan," Bradley explained. "We would work on it day in and day out and things could quite possibly be different. We haven't reviewed that tape (of the fight against Rios) but I am sure if we got that fight (against Pacquiao), he would eliminate my mistakes."

Bradley faced Pacquiao for the first time in June 2012, where he won via a controversial split-decision verdict, and was crowned as the WBO's 147-pound world champion. The two met each other again in April 2014, this time Pacquiao emerged victorious by unanimous decision, winning his former title back.

In a separate report by Boxingscene early this week, Top Rank Promotions head honcho, and Manny Pacquiao's chief promoter Bob Arum did announce that "Pacman" will also be reviewing the tapes of the Bradley-Rios fight, to make his decision for his supposed final bout in April 9th of the coming year.

"Pacquiao will now review the tape of this fight [between Bradley and Rios], the tape of [Crawford's] fight, and he'll make a decision," the 83-year old promoter said. "I don't make the picks, not for Manny, because people would say I'm pulling the strings and he's a puppet, which he's not."
