'Titanfall 2' DLC: Details on Multiplayer Map Expected This Week

Respawn Entertainment is treating players of its hit shooter "Titanfall 2" with more free downloadable content (DLC) as it continues to find ways to expand the game.

In a blog post, the studio said that their efforts are focused is on the long-term future of the franchise. In turn, they are hard at work on adding new elements to the game.

"The core Titanfall team is working away on lots of cool stuff, whether that be DLC for Titanfall 2, action blocks and prototypes for future Titanfall projects, or other crazy science experiments. We're just getting started, and we can't wait to take you, our Community, along for this ride," Respawn wrote.

The developer further pledges its commitment to "Titanfall 2" by releasing free content in addition to new Prime Titans, store items and more.

Respawn has new content in store this month and the studio plans to provide complete details on that come Thursday, March 23.

It was revealed early this year that this month's content will come in the form of a classic "Titanfall" multiplayer map. Details about it will be kept under wraps until later this week.

On the other hand, the "Titanfall" developer also promises to be more accessible gamers, who they want to work hand in hand with them in improving the game.

"We've been working on building new ways of getting more info and communications out to the Community. Next month, we'll be kicking off a Q&A video series, developer blogs and more," Respawn promised.

"Our goal is to start providing regular content that gives more insight into the people and work they do at Respawn and give a more satisfying feedback loop to players so that their voices feel heard," they went on to say.

Respawn also promised to give "Titanfall 2" players a "broader view" of their plans for post-launch support for the shooter game next month.
