Several application development businesses and companies create mobile applications for small and large-scale churches.
Subsplash Studio created a large number of iOS and Android apps for many churches and ministries. One of its latest apps, "Criswell College," allows its users to listen to sermons from some of the school's top professors. The company also created an app that lets churches and ministries craft apps.

iGivings designed a slew of apps for iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices. The app development business helps churches and ministries create apps that are unique to its organization. Users will have a more accessible way of gaining more attention and gathering more offerings from members by iGiving's app creation assistance.

3:16 Apps is operated by Tyler Brassfield, a full-time minister at the Bell Avenue Church of Christ in Amarillo, TX. The company develops ministry apps for interested congregations.
So far, 3:16 developed the following Church apps: "Oak Gardens Church of Christ," "University Church of Christ in Canyon, TX," "Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes" and "iPreacher."
My Pocket Church crafted the "My Pocket Church" app. The mobile-based app is "an easy to use mobile app platform that you can utilize to customize a mobile app to fit your ministry and spread your message."
"With 'My Pocket Church.' a user can bring their bible study notes, sermons, Facebook and Twitter updates, and much more directly to a congregation's Android or iPhone devices," said the company’s website. "Our unique Prayer Wall tool offers church members a way to share struggles, praises, and offer support to fellow believers in your church. In addition, members can also send donations and tithe right from the mobile app."
RO4R has done work with several churches to create apps that spreads its message to potential followers. The company's client list includes Orange Leaders, Celebration Church, Horizon Community Church, Redeemer Church, and Heartland Church.
RO4R's apps come with special features such as audio streaming, event calendars and custom branding.
