Tottenham Hotspurs welcome Stoke City to White Hart Lane as both teams look to put recent poor performances behind them.
New Spurs boss Tim Sherwood will look for his first victory as manager after a disappointing home draw against West Brom on Boxing Day.
The main factor that has led to the trouble with Spurs is their anemic goal scoring. Spurs have only managed to find the net more than once in two of their previous 11 Premier League games at home.
Still, their opponents have had a porous back line as of late conceding 15 goals in their previous five away league games and have earned just five points away from home in the Premier League this season.
Spurs will also have to be careful not to be caught on the back foot given that the club opened seven of their first 10 league matches with clean sheets since then they have not managed to keep one in their last eight.
Playing at home has not been what is should be for a top-half team. Spurs league record at White Hart Lane this season is the worst among sides in the top half of the table. They have won just three of their nine matches and scored only eight goals.
Still history between the two clubs favors Tottenham who have lost only twice to Stoke at White Hart Lane in the pairs last 38 meetings while only drawing eight times.
Sherwood will be eager to welcome back Midfielder Paulinho against Stoke on Sunday after serving a three-match ban for his red card versus Liverpool. While not a prolific scorer Paulinho plays a big role in building Spurs' attack which has been almost not existent in recent matches.
Kick off for the match is at 11:00 a.m. ET and can be watched online here.
