'Toy Soldiers: War Chest' for Xbox One Features: New Armies in 'Hall of Fame' Edition

Lots of fresh games have been released this month and one of it is the "Toy Soldiers: War Chest" from Ubisoft. This action or strategy video game developed by Signal Studios is the next installment to the top-selling, award-winning "Toy Soldiers" franchise. And for the first time, the developer has made a way for the players to be able to choose from a range of unique Heroes and Armies.

Winbeta identified the four original armies which are Kaiser, Starbright, Phantom and Dark Lord, each having their own set of strengths. Kaiser leads the way for the good as he brings his powerful WWI-era German forces while Starbright charges forth with the Buddy Bears, Ponies and Pixies. By its name, the Dark Lord embodies the bad side leading an evil motley of supernatural forces composed of men, dragons, and other monsters. Phantom confederates with the Dark Lord with the help of their destructive technology and advanced passage of arms.

Studio Signals revealed in their site that in the Hall of Fame edition, the game will feature He-Man who is gifted with great strength and fearless courage. Along with his allies, they protect the Eternia toy box from the forces of darkness. Players will also find the highly trained special mission force G.I. Joe who is led by brave field commander Duke. Together they stop evil with an arsenal of weapons and overflowing fighting spirit. Other add-on characters in the game are Cobra Commander and Ezio who is leading "Assassin's Creed" army.

Gamers will have to know though that these exciting new additions would cost $15 more, a total of $30 for the "Toy Soldiers: War Chest Hall of Fame" edition. The good news is that according to Destructoid, the additional characters will be worth the purchase as they look and feel differently enough compared to the vanilla forces, complete with their own signature looks and sound effects.
