The report went on to say that Ultra Magnus has a connection to the villain seen in the last "Transformers: Age of Extinction," Galvatron.

On the Decepticon camp, rumors also stated that there will also be new members – Cyclonus, Scourge and Blitzwing.

On top of that, the group Quintessons will also be appearing. Quintessons are said to be an ancient race of mechanoids responsible in the creation of the Transformers.

In related news, cast rumors indicated that actress Megan Fox, who appeared on the first two sequels, will be returning to reprise her role as Mikaela Banes together with Shia LeBeouf (as Sam Witwicky).

Movie Pilot reported that the 28-year-old actress has already expressed keenness and interest in getting involved with the project.

"If [Bay] ever wanted me to do a cameo like assembling an autobot motorcycle in a bike shop or something like that, I would totally do it," Fox said during an interview with E! News.

Meanwhile, LeBeouf still remains noncommittal when asked about the role reprisal.
