John Travolta's attorney has slammed a sexual assault lawsuit being brought against his client as "fiction" and despite making threats to countersue, the actor's accuser maintains that he has "proof" of his alleged ordeal.

Feisty Los Angeles attorney to the stars Marty Singer has begun making threats against a masseur- identified as "John Doe" in legal documents- after the accuser vowed to stick by his claims that Travolta tried to have sex with him during a massage session, according to Radar Online.

"The problem in America is anyone can sue anyone. However in this case this unidentified plaintiff and his lawyer will regret they filed this fabricated suit. We intend to sue both of them for malicious prosecution," a heated Singer told Radar.

"This lawsuit is a complete fiction and fabrication. None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred!" he added.

The 58-year-old "Hairspray" actor is accused of scheduling a $200 per hour appointment with John Doe, when he allegedly stripped naked and appeared semi-erect before offering the masseur a "reverse massage."

"Come on dude, I'll j--- you off!!!" Travolta allegedly told John Doe after his sexual advances were rejected.

Travolta allegedly proceeded to masturbate in the masseur's presence before explaining that he got far in his career "due to sexual favors he had performed when he was in his 'Welcome Back Kotter' days."

"Hollywood is controlled by homosexual Jewish men who expect favors in return for sexual activity," he added.

Despite Singer's threats to retaliate if John Doe proceeded with the lawsuit, the masseur insists that the lawsuit is legitimate.

"I have proof to support the truth that I'm telling!" John Doe said. "I represent the 99 per cent of the population, the working class, and I was put in an inappropriate situation that I didn't put myself in. It is not for Mr. Singer to deny me my right!"

He also claims to have taken a lie detector test in a bid to back up his story.

"I passed a lie detector test for the National Enquirer, and I'm telling the truth about what happened. I'm ready for my day in court," John Doe said.

Singer maintains that Travolta was on the other side of the country when the alleged incident occurred.
