Trina Denies Pregnancy Rumors; Explains Friendship With French Montana

Rapper Trina recently denied reports claiming she and French Montana are expecting a baby together.

The award-winning hip hop artist, born Katrina Laverne Taylor, has been linked to the "Ain't Worried About Nothin" rapper, for several months however the pair insists they are just close friends. On Tuesday celebrity gossip sites claimed Trina was pregnant, however her rep denied the rumors, according to TMZ.com.

The "Five Star" rapper, 34, is often photographed alongside French Montana, 29, at events which has fueled romance speculation. She previously denied being in a relationship and explained their friendship in an interview with 4umf.

"I'm not a couple with nobody. French Montana is an amazing person; he's a great person, he's been a great inspiration to me since he came into my life as far as working, business, career," Trina said.

"He's a very positive person, he's a great, fun person to be around, and that's what I love about him. I guess when people see you with somebody, they automatically think that you're together," she continued. "If we were together, if we become together, I think you guys would know."

In the past Trina, who launched her rap career in the late 90s, was linked to NBA star Kenyon Martin. She was also engaged to Lil Wayne.

The Miami native revealed that while she is currently not in a relationship, she hopes to settle down with the right person.

"I'm not looking for a boyfriend, I'm not looking for somebody to date – I'm not a dater, I never was good at dating, but if I decide to get into something, then you'll know," she said.

"I'm looking for a serious situation. A husband, a family, a life beyond everything that I've lived in my life, and that's where I am in my life where that's concerned," she added.
