Tupac Shakur Mother Thrilled With Coachella Hologram (VIDEO)

Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni Shakur, is among the millions of fans around the world who were blown away by the hologram of her late son at Coachella on Sunday night.

Afeni was reportedly thrilled with the high tech visuals and watching the performance online was bittersweet for her, according to TMZ.

Tupac fans were blown away when the infamous rapper virtually appeared on stage with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for the smash hit "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" and Afeni was aware that the performance would take place in advance.

Renowned hip hop producer Dr. Dre approached Afeni for her seal of approval before going ahead with the now historic Tupac hologram Coachella appearance. As a thank you for her permission, he made a donation to The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.

A spoof Twitter account was launched for Tupac's hologram and a number of Tupac fans including celebrities immediately took to the social networking site to tweet about the now infamous Coachella performance.

"I think I might have cried when I saw Tupac. #coachella," pop singer Katy Perry tweeted.

"TupacBACK unbelievable IWASTHERE STORY4myGrandKidz (sic)," singer Rihanna tweeted from the crowd.

"Tupac at Coachella is crazy, dope and sends chills through my body! Make sure y'all check that out. Looks 2 real! #RIP2Pac," NBA star LeBron James tweeted.

"I'm still tripping out over that #Tupac hologram at Coachella! So crazy & awesome!" blogger Perez Hilton tweeted.

"Just now seeing this Tupac hologram at Coachella!!! OMG dopest thing ever!!! Wish I was there to see it in person!" reality TV personality Kim Kardashian tweeted.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual three-day music and arts festival in California, which showcases some of the world's biggest names in music.

Among the list of performers who have previously participated in the event is Kanye West, Madonna,The Beastie Boys and Prince.
