'Twin Peaks' Revival Cast News: Who Is Not Returning?

News about the upcoming revival for "Twin Peaks" revealed that a cast member will not be returning to the series.

It was recently reported that the comeback of the hit series "Twin Peaks" will not see the return of a beloved character. Fans are unhappy to know that the new reboot will be missing the town's popular sheriff.

Sheriff Harry S. Truman, who was played by Michael Ontkean, was a fan favorite during the time the series "Twin Peaks" was still running. He was known as a loved character who will be missed when the series returns.

While it was reported that Ontkean is in good health to return to the show, he apparently does not want to take on the role once again. It was revealed that he is currently retired from acting and has no intentions to return.

With that, there are speculations that his absence will open up the opportunity for a new sheriff. It was said that either they will have a new character for the sheriff or the role of Harry Truman will be recast. There is even the theory that Sheriff Eisenhower will be taking on the role.

However, most of the cast members for the original series, which aired around 25 years ago, will be reprising their roles in the upcoming episodes. This will bring excitement to fans since it has been so long since they have seen some of the actors in the small and big screens.

It was said that some actors of the series "Twin Peaks" did not continue on with their television careers. While a few did, it will still be a treat to see most of them together again.

There has yet to be any official announcement regarding the release date of "Twin Peaks," but it is expected to air by 2017 on Showtime.
