'Two and a Half Men' Season 12 Premieres Oct. 30, Series' Final Season Airing

The American television sitcom "Two and a Half Men" will air it's twelfth and last season on Oct. 30 later this year. The end of the series marks it's more than a decade run on the CBS channel and it looks like it won't finish with its original cast of characters due to multiple controversies over the years.

Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, was killed off on the first episode of Season 9 because of issues between Warner Bros.' CBS and the actor. Ashton Kutcher replaced Sheen as the character Walden Schmidt.

Angus T. Jones, who plays as Charlie's son Jake, also won't be finishing off the series as one of the original cast members. His conversion to Christianity via the Seventh-Day Adventist Church contradicted his morals with the show's raunchy humor. On March earlier this year, Jones officially announced his departure.

Jones was then replaced by Amber Tamblyn, who plays Charlie's long-lost daughter Jenny.

Most characters would probably have a recurring role for the last season of the series. Actress Maggie Lawson from the series "Psych" is making an appearance during the least season as a social worker who would help the Walden and Alan adopt a child.

"Two and a Half Men" was a series revolving around the lives of Charlie Harper, his brother Alan Harper, and his son Jake. Basically, the series is about the lives of these three men and their struggles with women and life.

Things took a drastic change during the ninth season when Sheen's character had to be killed during a train accident -- he was pushed down into the rails onto an oncoming train. His beach house was then sold off to Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt while Jake left for the army and was shipped to Japan. Jenny, Charlie's long-lost daughter, then moved in with Walden and Alan.
