Ubisoft Reveals FarCry 4 Details

Ubisoft has been experiencing certain performance issues with their games, and not only with "Assassin's Creed: Unity." Even their other release, "Far Cry 4" has been getting technical issues and bugs that need patches to get fixed. Recently, the company had updated its blog and detailed the issues currently affecting "Far Cry 4."

One such issue is the PC crashing while loading the game.

"Some players have been reporting problems loading the game that result in a crash that manifests as a black screen. We have been able to reproduce this internally," Ubisoft wrote in their blog.

They mentioned that their initial findings suggest that the presence of certain peripherals are causing the problems and that they are investigating the issue further.

There are also player reports that game data from "Far Cry 3" for the Playstation 3 is corrupted. "We have seen reports from PS3 players that they are receiving a message reading 'Game Data is corrupt. Please delete FC3 game data,'" the blog mentions.

"While the message suggests this would be limited to players who had also played Far Cry 3 on the same console, we are receiving similar reports from players who have not played FC3. If you are submitting reports about this issue, please clarify if you've played Far Cry 3 or Blood Dragon on the same console," they continued.

Lastly, Ubisoft is also receiving reports about some players not receiving the pre-order codes for a bonus mission "Blood Ruby." While some players have already received the email for the redemption code, some players have reported not having received the said email. There are also reports about some players receiving an email but is missing a code.
