Uncharted 4 Scheduled for 2015 Release, Game Running on 1080p/60fps, New Nathan Drake Look
Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4" still has no exact release date but the developers have set the release to be sometime in 2015 exclusively for the Playstation 4. The last time gamers heard about the title was from the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year where devs unveiled a full in-engine trailer featuring Nathan Drake, the game's protagonist.
The trailer showed Nathan Drake waking up in a river bank in the jungle with a pistol in hand. Sully's voiceover runs in the backround and the video ended with Nathan venturing forth deep into the jungle while the camera panned to reveal cages with skeletons hanging from the trees.
"Uncharted 4" has the sub-title "Thief's End" and hints at the possibility that the title will be last in the series. There are rumors that the game will be running on 1080p at 60fps. There are also reports that Naughty Dog would be revealing new footage of the game at the Playstation Experience Event on December at Las Vegas.

Only recently, the designer team at Naughty Dog had released a teaser image of Nathan from the game. The character still looks the same as he was in previous games but graphically, he looks better. It is possible that this is the graphical quality that would be expected from the release with the Playstation 4's more powerful hardware, but there are still doubts if the developers could truly deliver a full HD experience.
Naughty Dog also revealed that the video they showed during the E3 earlier this year was not pre-rendered but is rather the actual content from the in-game engine. It is still unclear if the Playstation 4 can handle this kind of in-game quality but fans will have to wait for the game to be released to find out.
