'Under the Dome' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Big Jim Quarrels With Junior, Town Leader Suspects New Residents

After what happened in last week's season premiere of CBS' hit science-fiction TV drama series "Under the Dome," the residents of Chester Mill are back to where they started, although things are expected to be never be the same again.

For one, a huge quarrel between Big Jim (Dean Norris) and his son Junior (Alexander Koch) erupted after the latter injured himself from attempting to punch his way out from the invisible dome.

A clip for this week's episode titled "Redux," shows the father and son attempting towards reconciliation but as expected, it ended up with Big Jim throwing a fist to Junior's face. Will the two ever patch up?

There are other things that Big Jim has in his hands right now. A synopsis for the upcoming segment (via The Futon Critic) indicates that the town official is suspecting new residents Christine (Marg Helgenberger) and Eva (Kylie Bunbury) are keeping secrets about the Dome.

Even more interesting is that Junior seems to be so fond with Christine, a situation which will further complicate the issue with his father in the future.

"Junior makes a complete break from Big Jim and aligns himself with Christine in a very interesting, highly sexually-charged way," series creator Neal Baer teased told TV Guide.

The summary went on to point out that fans will see the Chester Millers trying to move on with their lives following the "aftermath of their mysterious experience in the tunnels beneath the town."

Find out more when "Under the Dome" Season 3 Episode 3 "Redux" airs this Thursday, July 2, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
