UNLV Rebels vs California Golden Bears takes place in the NCAA 2013 tournament second round on Thursday night. UNLV will be favorites but will know that California (aka Berkeley) will provide stiff opposition, and that if they don't bring their A-game they could be going home early from this year's March Madness. The game will tip off at 7.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The 5th seeded UNLV and the 12th seeded Golden Bears played each other just a few months back in December in a memorable match up. Quintrell Thomas scored in the final seconds to give UNLV the victory in a closely fought 76-75 game.

Thomas could also be a pivotal player tonight. California do not have anyone else to match him in stature, however, the Golden bears will know that they came within a whisker of overcoming UNLV last time. If they can just get on the right side of the result tonight and hustle their opponents all the way, they could cause an upset.

Allen Crabbe was the Pac-12 player of the year, averaging 18.7 points per game, and he will be the top choice with Cal tonight.

This should be a closely fought affair, similar to that in December, and the winner can look forward to a third round tie against the winner of No. 4 Syracuse and No. 13 Montana in the third round of the tournament.

UNLV Rebels vs California Golden Bears is scheduled to tip off at 7.45 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV, but also can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
