Upcoming Huawei Phones 2015: Unnamed Honor Smartphone Sports Sliding Camera?

Huawei may be among the top smartphone brands today, but it does not mean it won't try and make things new, even if the result is somewhat strange.

According to a report by GSM Arena, an unknown Huawei smartphone has recently surfaced and showed up on the Chinese certification website TENAA. For a smartphone, passing TENAA means that its release date is just around the corner. So what's interesting about this new unannounced Huawei device?

In the report, the leaked images of the said device appears to have a sliding camera at the top. While the rear camera can be used like a normal smartphone, the front snapper is a little more complicated to use. Instead of just turning the smartphone around where the user looks at the display, he or she needs to press a dedicated camera button that will make the front camera module slide out of the phone's top portion.

Using this design, the smartphone's two cameras are joined together on either side of the device. Interestingly, both cameras also have dual-flash, which means images captured in low-light conditions would be much better.

Dubbed as the Huawei ATH-AL00, the Android-powered smartphone is rumored to get dual-SIM functionality, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, and Huawei's very own Kirin chipset.
