Upcoming Lenovo Phones 2015: Unannounced Lenovo Handset Shows Up At Chinese TENAA

Chinese certification website TENAA has just seen the latest smartphone from Lenovo.

In the last few months, the website has been the source of leaks for most Chinese-based mobile makers, and this time it's the Lenovo Vibe S1 which made the appearance.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered device is an upper midrange device with its 5-inch display, Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2GB of RAM, and an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz.

Other leaked specs of the device include a 13MP primary shooter, a 5MP front camera, dual-SIM capabilities, Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and a microSD card slot. Completing the leaked features are the 4G LTE connectivity, 16GB of built in memory, and a 2,420mAh battery.

While not mentioned in the leak, the Lenovo Vibe S1 could run a 64-bit compatible Snapdragon 615 chipset. TENAA also revealed some of the color options for the device, which included violet, blue and pink.

In the report, the Lenovo smartphone was already leaked before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February. However, interestingly, Lenovo did not announce or launch any new devices during that time.

The fact that the Lenovo Vibe S1 already passed TENAA means that it could be released in the Chinese market any time soon.
