Upcoming Motorola Phones 2015: 2 Verizon-Bound Handsets With QHD Displays Already Being Tested?

Motorola and Verizon have come up with the finest Android devices with their exclusive partnership. Some of the more popular ones include the Droid RAZR, RAZR Maxx, Droid RAZR M, and the Droid Turbo, which launched last year.

As early as now, it seems the two companies are already preparing to announce two high-end Android devices which will target Verizon subscribers in the U.S.

According to a report by GSM Arena, both smartphones would boast a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, although they will come at different sizes. The first one, dubbed as Clark and bearing the model number Moto XT1578, will boast a 5.25-inch display with 2K resolution, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset, and a ppi of 560.

On the other hand, model number Moto XT1585 is also called Kinzie and packs a slightly smaller screen at 4.6 inches. Because the device also has QHD resolution, its ppi amounts to an impressive 640. Interestingly, this version of the device is run by a higher-end Snapdragon 810 chipset with an octa-core CPU.

Similar to other high-end devices released by Motorola and Verizon, both the Clark and Kinzie will arrive with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Unfortunately for non-Verizon customers, you may need to wait longer before Motorola makes the device available. However, that is often not the case with previous Verizon-bound Motorola handsets.
