The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is among the rumored devices that are expected to hit the Chinese market any time soon. However, even before the official announcement, some Android fans are already given an early treat with a rumored leak.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the purported frame of the unannounced handset has appeared in a leaked image online. While there is nothing to confirm or deny the rumor, the fact that the device is in its development stages could be the only proof that it is the Redmi Note 2.
The upcoming Xiaomi phone, which would be dubbed as the Hongmi Note when it becomes available in China, is rumored to be a midrange phablet that would cater to the market group that prefers bigger displays, but are not willing to shell out large sums of cash.

Based on rumors and other reports, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will come with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a MediaTek MT-6795 chipset, an octa-core CPU, a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP front camera.
In a new report by Phone Arena, China-based manufacturer will be unveiling the Redmi Note 2 tomorrow, June 30. This early announcement date will give it enough time to prepare its upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship before September.
