Uruguay vs Nigeria Live Stream Free Football: Watch Online FIFA Confederations Cup Soccer

Uruguay vs Nigeria takes place in the Confederations Cup 2013 on Thursday night with the match expected to be a good one. Both teams have some world class players and if both teams perform it should be an exciting game. The match kicks off at 6 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The game will be the second in the tournament on Thursday, with Spain taking on Haiti earlier in the day. That game ended as expected with a massive win for World Cup and European champions Spain. Tahiti were no match for the European giants and the game ended 10-0 to the Spanish.

In today's second game things should be a much closer affair, with both teams capable of good football if they perform.

In team news Nigeria will be without Ogenyi Onazi again, who is in Nigeria recovering from a knee injury. Some had thought that he would play some part in the tournament but the fact he is still back in Africa means that even if Nigeria do manage to progress in the tournament he is unlikely to play a part.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has said that former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan will start, along with Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Napoli's Edinson Cavani.

With the tournament being a short one, both teams will see this second round of group games as vitally important, and if both have ambitions to make the knock out rounds then they will also see this game as a must win.

Nigeria beat Tahiti easily in their first game but they can expect much tougher opposition tonight. Spain meanwhile defeated Uruguay in their first game meaning this really is a game they cannot afford to lose.
