The Los Cafeteros and the US Men's National Team will try to draw first blood as the two teams battle it out at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in hopes of starting their respective campaigns at the 2016 Copa America on the right note.
Teams USA and Colombia will figure in the first match this Friday, June 3, to kick off the 45th edition of the tournament, which will also be dubbed as Copa America Centenario as the sporting event marks its 100th year, making it the oldest international continental football tournament.
This will also be the first time a Copa America is held outside the South America region. The USA team, which will be playing the underdog card, will get a boost from the home crowd. Their team should also be in high spirits coming from four straight victories on their warm-up matches.

Jurgen Klinsmann's squad will also need players like team captain Michael Bradley and seasoned midfielder Jermaine Jones to step up if they want to prove that they can compete at the highest level.
They will be up against the team, which has recently improved its FIFA ranking up one slot at the number three spot, also fresh from its own string of victories, winning their last three matches against Haiti, Ecuador, and Bolivia.
The Los Cafeteros will bank on the performances of team captain Carlos Bacca, captain James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado. Jose Pekerman's team is clearly the favorites coming into this match. They are certainly out to get better results this time after bowing out at the quarters against Argentina in the last COPA.

As for the ticket price, it will range from $75 to $141 for the upper level and nosebleed section, and could go up to as high as $319 to $789 for the club level and VIP section.
The tournament will run from June 3 to June 26, 2016 and will feature 32 matches, starting with the group stages where a total of 16 teams from the Americas were divided into four groups. The group stages will have a single round robin format with the top two finishers from each group advancing to the playoff stages.
Apart from USA and Colombia, Group A will include Costa Rica and Paraguay while Group B will be made up of Brazil, Ecuador, Haiti and Peru. For Group C, teams like Mexico, Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela will duke it out, while Argentina, Chile, Panama, and Bolivia will comprise Group D.
