USA vs Russia takes place on Wednesday in a friendly match following the United States' World Cup Qualifying campaign. The game starts at 10 a.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

The USA have not been at their best in recent months and had to suffer a nervous progression through to the Concacaf World Cup Qualifying Hexagonal. They will now have a chance to relax a little more in this friendly, although Russia will be hoping to claim a win against the USA in Krasnodar, Russia.

USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann has led his team to some good friendly victories in recent times, and they have claimed the scalps of both Italy and Mexico this year. He is not a manager who will entertain lackluster performances even in friendlies and the USA team will no doubt be going for the win today also.

The USA is preparing for the final World Cup qualifying round to begin in February 2013, and he will be hoping to keep momentum moving forward by winning against one of the over-achieving European teams of recent years.

Team USA will have to do without Eeperienced squad members such as Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan and Steve Cherundolo, who are all missing but there is an opportunity for some of the country's young talent to try and work their way into the team.

The trio of Josh Gatt (Molde), Joe Gyau (St. Pauli) and Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg) have all been included.

It should be a testing experience playing away in Russia, which is a team that beat Portugal in their last World Cup qualifying match last month.

Russia is led by former England boss Fabio Capello.
