"I just wanted to thank you ALL for the love and sweet words about baby Camden and our new family. It still feels so surreal to me!" she tweeted on Sept. 18. And just one day later she added, "One week ago today at 6:54pm, @NickSLachey & I were holding our son, Camden John Lachey for the 1st time. Life is such a beautiful miracle."

Nick, meanwhile, has remained relatively silent since the birth of baby Camden, except for one notable tweet: "Officially in cheesy dad mode. Camden is easily the most amazing thing that has happened in my life. Vanessa and I are truly blessed!"

The couple got together in 2006, and after a brief break-up, married in July 2011. It's the second marriage for Lachey, who was famously married to singer-actress Jessica Simpson- she herself has just welcomed a baby girl named Maxwell. Vanessa, née Minnillo, was previously in a relationship with New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, but that relationship ended after two years.

Now the Lacheys are busy raising their little boy, they'll join the rest of the family, including two cousins, Isabella and Hudson, by new uncle Drew Lachey.
