First time parents Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are already anxious to show off pictures of their baby, despite the fact the expected son has yet to be born.

The expecting mother tweeted a photo of her bare baby bump, standing beside Nick Lachey, who placed a careful hand on his soon-to-be son. Minnillo showed off a done-up look with a bandeau top to reveal her very large baby bump. Husband Lachey looked far less confident, giving a questioning smile to the camera.

"My Happiness . . . My Family! Ah, my Boys!" Minnillo tweeted along with the picture.

Lachey recently talked about how he and Minnillo has been planning for their new son's arrival. They hoped that everything could be done beforehand, so all of their free time could be dedicated to their new baby after he was born.

"We're just trying to enjoy our last couple of months of freedom here: getting the nursery ready, making sure we've got all our hospital plans together. All that stuff," he told Us Weekly earlier on in the week. "We're just excited to move onto the next phase and meet this little guy. You see him in sonograms and you feel him move -- you just want to meet him!"

Minnillo, who is expected to give birth in September, announced in June that she and her husband were expecting a boy.

During an interview on "Live! With Kelly," Lachey admitted that having a son was an accomplishment over all other accomplishments in his life.

"I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to," the former 98 Degrees member said. "The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming."
