Victory Campus Ministries, founded in 1990, has now changed its name to Every Nation Campus Ministries in an effort to merge with its affiliated ministries.

"Victory Campus Ministries is merging with the ministries it has been affiliated with for the past 14 years. This new organization is Every Nation Ministries," according to a statement on its website. "Victory Campus Ministries will now be Every nation Campus Ministries, a division of Every Nation Ministries."

The ministries include International Student outreach, Champions 4 Christ (athletes ministry), Women's ministry, Archon (a ministry to Greek sororities and fraternities), and AARM (African-American Resource Ministry).

"Through the years, several affiliated ministries developed," the statement explained, "each specializing in a particular area - high school, athletics, church planting, and overseas missions. Each ministry grew with its own structure and administration. By combining these ministries, we will be able to better coordinate our efforts as we reach students and nations for Christ."

In addition, the name change would also accommodate other nations and cultures as it expands internationally.

"As the ministry grew into an international outreach, it became apparent that the name 'Victory Campus Ministries' did not work well in all cultures. Our ministry was sometimes confused with other ministries who share the 'victory' name," according to a recent statement from Every Nation Campus Ministries accessible on its website.

The new name would be effective in expressing its vision and would also take into account the growing international character of the ministry.

"Our new name, Every Nation Campus Ministries not only expresses our vision to reach young leaders around the world, but also works well in many nations and cultures," it states.

Endorsements were also featured on the statement. NBA Iron Man, AC Green stated, "Victory Campus Ministries has kept me in touch with the victories and challenges of the campus mission field. In addition to the passion to reach every nation with the Gospel, Every Nation Campus Ministries is training God's people to be champions in real life, and therefore, impacting future generations for Christ."

Stormie Omartian, a best-selling author stated, "Every Nation Ministries' mission is to help people find the Lord and receive all the love, hope wholeness and purpose He has for them, and then to equip these same people to go into all the nations, cities and campuses of the world to help others find the same."
