"You know it's exactly the way that each show has been pushing it. It's mysterious. I mean even for me -- I'm not even 100 percent sure," Durand said. "You know what I mean? I have a very, very good idea but it will be interesting to see what you think as the episodes move along and I'm really interested in seeing what people think."

When asked for how many episodes his character would be in the show, the actor confirmed: "I am in three."

In related news, the recently-released sneak peek of the upcoming installment of the show featured the brave Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) talking heart-to-heart with the equally fearless slave girl Porunn (Gaia Weiss).

"I enjoyed fighting," Porunn says in the promo video.

"You fought well today, I watched, but you took too many risks," Bjorn replies. "You jumped into battle, you did not stay by my side. Don't do that, Porunn. You have too much to learn."

"Do you not believe in fate? Is that really Bjorn son of Ragnar? Or some imposter who just looks like you?" she questions her former master.

Ragnar's son confesses he only did so because he cared.

Just as he walks away from the conversation, Bjorn shoots a question that bewilders the lady warrior for a second: "I asked you to marry me. What is your answer?"

Fans will soon find out the fate of the two when "Vikings" finally returns for its 10-episode Season 3 this Thursday, Feb. 19, on History Channel.
