Vin Diesel News: Actor Pays Another Sweet Tribute to Paul Walker at People's Choice Awards

As everyone already knows, Vin Diesel isn't over the death of his "Fast and Furious" co-star Paul Walker and he only proved that their friendship lives on as he paid tribute to the late actor to the tune of "See You Again" during the People's Choice Awards.

Wednesday was a joyous night for a lot of actors and actresses who received various honors, but for Diesel, it was one heck of an emotional moment when he received two awards for "Fast and Furious 7."

Receiving Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Movie for his last film with Walker, who died in 2013 from a car crash, he first thanked the people who helped him get to the position that he is currently at. He went on to tell the story of how the team started with small beginnings and how "love" was one of the key factors that led to the franchise's success.

"I say I'm not gonna get emotional about winning these awards, and I was cool while I was sitting in my seat..so, I think of Dom and Brian, and I start to think of Paul," the actor said (via Today) as he tried to keep the tears inside.

He further thanked the people who "thought this was your favorite film," noting that with the People's Choice Awards, there is nothing more than the votes and praise of the masses.

Aside from his short rendition of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again," the most emotional and tear-jerking part of his speech was when he went back to that time after Walker's untimely demise. He said it was "the love of everyone combined" that pushed the team to get back to filming after the loss of their friend.

Despite Walker's loss, "Fast and Furious 7" was widely welcomed by moviegoers and fans around the world. Brian, Walker's character, was pulled off even if he wasn't able to complete filming, through the use of computer-generated imagery and the cooperation of his brother, Cody, who stepped up to the plate to take over his role.

Diesel is currently working on the eighth installment in the "FF" franchise, which is expected to release in April 14, 2017.
