Vladimir Putin Rumor: Russian President and Wendi Deng in a Serious Relationship?

While no photograph can prove that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Wendi Deng are playing sweet music together, rumors about the two being in a relationship continue to persist. However, according to reports, the two are not just in a simple case of relationship; they are serious about it.

The rumor about the Russian President and Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife started circulating years ago, after both got a divorce from their respective previous marriages. The divorce of Putin and his wife for 30 years, Lyudmila Putina, was granted in 2014. On the other hand, Murdoch filed a divorce with Deng in 2013 after he allegedly grew suspicious about her dealing with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. However, the rumor was eventually dismissed by the camp of Blair.

Prior to the re-emergence of the rumor linking him with Deng, though, Putin was rumored having an affair with Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva. Russia's most powerful man became a favorite topic in various European sites after Kabaeva was seen having gained a few pounds, fueling rumors that she was heavy with the Russian President's child. There were also rumors claiming that Putin was a no-show in his several commitments because he often traveled to Switzerland, where Kabaeva supposedly gave birth to their lovechild in March last year.

The Kremlin has denied the reports.

Rumors linking Putin and Deng anew resurfaced when the latter was seen aboard the yacht of her friend, Roman Abramovich, in St. Bart's recently. Abramovich is also a friend of Putin and owns the Chelsea Football Club in the Premier League Football.

While having a common friend may not be an acceptable reason to assume the two are having a relationship, there's a bigger catch: the yacht is not really owned by Abramovich, technically speaking, as he is said to have given it as a gift to Putin in January this year.

Despite the reports lacking substantial evidence, the rumor linking Putin and Deng has left the Internet abuzz, with many hoping that the two will, indeed, end up walking down the aisle one day and live their version of a happy-ever-after.
