Warcraft Movie Plot Spoilers: Duncan Jones Talks About First Contact Story Between Orcs and Humans

One of the most anticipated video game movies, "Warcraft," from Blizzard Entertainment is reported to focus on the conflict between Human Alliance and the Orc Horde.

As revealed by Collider, the Warcraft film has already wrapped up for its production last year. Due to the "extensive visual effects" expected from the film, the post-production stage could take a year to complete.

While still deep into the editing part, director Duncan Jones revealed some of the meaty details about the Humans v Orcs encounter.

"A Warcraft film should not be about a good race of humans battling an evil race of orcs! Warcraft should be about heroes on both sides trying to avoid a conflict, when villains leave them no choice,"Jones told Chinese movie news site Mtime.

"From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans. First contact!" he went on to explain. "I think that for a world with so much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about Warcraft… it was important that some of our characters would be seeing the world fresh as well, and that the audience could see the situation through their eyes"

When probed further for the details of the upcoming movie, Jones also said that several prominent names are on board to do the visual effects of the film. There's effects supervisor Bill Westenhoffer who recently won an Oscar for his work in "Life of Pi." There's also Jeff White who saw the effects for The Incredible Hulk in "The Avengers."

"Warcraft" is slated to hit the big screen by March of 2016.
