The Washington Redskins and the New York Giants will meet in a huge clash on Sunday afternoon. Both teams come into the game fresh from confidence building victories in Week 6, but both are desperate to continue their resurgences with another win. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on Fox, or alternatively can be watched online through live stream on the NFL Sunday Ticket via the link below.
The Giants come into this game desperate for a first divisional win. So far they are 0-2 in the NFC East and come up against the Redskins today looking to get that all-important first victory.
The Giants have been patchy this season so far, but last week pulled of a spectacular performance to run over the San Francisco 49ers, who until then had been one of the most impressive teams in the NFL so far this season.
The 49ers were confined to only three points in that game, and if the Giants can perform with the same intensity in defense today then the Redskins offense could find itself in trouble.
The Redskins meanwhile will also be feeling much more confident following their surprising 38-26 win against the Vikings. This will be their first divisional encounter, and they will be hoping to get off to a positive start against their big rivals from New York.
Neither of these sides has played with enough consistency this season to really understand how far they can go or which of either will take control of the division. This game could prove pivotal in deciding that, especially as the Giants are 0-2 in the NFC East, and they have two straight divisional games coming up, with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
The Redskins against the Giants starts at 1 p.m. ET, and all the action from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ can be watched online through live stream via the NFL Sunday Ticket by clicking here.
