'Watch Dogs 2' Release Date, Trailer and Updates: New Teaser Showcases Game Story and Gameplay
The much anticipated action adventure video game "Watch Dogs 2" is will be arriving soon to multiple platforms. The game's developer and publisher has released its trailer, showing the story and gameplay of the new open world game.
Ubisoft Releases New Trailer
Ubisoft, the developer and publisher behind the "Watch Dogs" franchise, has released a new trailer for the second installment in the series. The game is mainly set in a fictional area in San Francisco, could be explored either through walking or using a bicycle. This is a new location for the franchise, as the original game was set in Chicago.

The game play of "Watch Dogs 2" was hugely based from user feedback from the previous installment. Ubisoft also consulted real life hackers, to actually certify to the authenticity of the game's settings, scripts, mechanics, and environment.
Game play and Story
The trailer of "Watch Dogs 2" (which has an in game stylized name of "WATCH_DOGS2) focuses on nothing much else but the story. Users are acquainted with the game's new protagonist, Marcus Holloway, along with his group of hackers that are on the job making their way through the data manipulation company known as Blume.
The hacking group, widely known as DedSec, has now become somewhat of a widely known entity in the game. "Watch Dogs 2" will see Marcus Holloway being framed for a crime he did not commit. This was mainly blamed on the upgraded ctOS, now rightfully called ctOS 2.0. With this premise at hand, Marcus sets the story of "Watch Dogs 2" in motion and embarks on a mission to take the system down.
He aims to do this by enlisting the help of DedSec, with Blume and its Chief Technology Officer Dusan Nemec being the main antagonistic entities in "Watch Dogs 2." Blume is noteworthy for being the main owner of the ctOS system and its successor. DedSec's hacking abilities will be heavily showcased in the game, as the lives of the innocent lie in their hands.
Release Details
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had earlier stated that "Watch Dogs 2" could easily become among the company's best-selling video games in its history of 30 years. He had particularly singled out the game's online functionality and co-op elements going more seamless to be the key factors to the game's success.
To outdo the first installment, "Watch Dogs 2" has to sell more than a staggering amount of 9 million copies in its run. It will be officially released on November 15, and will be playable on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
