'Westworld' Season 2 Spoilers: Creators Tease Other Worlds Exist; Ed Harris Talk Insane Filming Schedule

"Westworld" season 2 won't have just one type of theme park. Creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy implied that there might be other worlds, such as a Roman World and a Medieval World.

The creators revealed that they have planned these worlds from the beginning as based on the 1973 movie from Michael Crichton. Only, Nolan and Joy thought it would be best to save the unveiling of these other places in the second season.

Consequently, rumors of a Samurai World might also pop up in "Westworld" season 2 following the casting of Hiroyuki Sanada. The showrunners, however, haven't confirmed the nature of Sanada's appearance in the series although speculations are that he'll play the legendary Samurai Musashi.

Meanwhile, Ed Harris (Man in Black) confirmed that filming for season 2 reached the middle mark. It's a far cry from when the cast and crew worked on the first season, which took at least two years on the set.

"They're committed to having the scripts done to shoot so we're done by Christmas," Harris stated. "I'm glad that I am not a person who's trying to schedule the days of filming on this thing, because it's insane."

Harris also refused to offer more details about what fans might expect from "Westworld" season 2. He admitted that he doesn't understand much of what is going on in the show, so he's not likely the guy to go to for spoilers. The only thing he knows is what he's supposed to do as an actor.

Co-star Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores) hinted that "Westword" season 2 will shock viewers more than season 1. She claimed the upcoming episodes will be more ambitious.

"Westworld" is a sci-fi series about a realistic theme park filled with artificial intelligence (AI) creations. The first season ended with the AI robots increasingly aware of what they are and it sparked the beginning of a revolt.

HBO has not given an exact premiere date for "Westworld" season 2 but it will likely air on 2018.
