'Westworld' Season 2 Spoilers: Talulah Riley Promoted as Series Regular

HBO's recent science fiction thriller "Westworld" is expected to come back for a second season - but it is not expected to happen this year.

While fans wait for the show's return, new reports can give clues as to what audiences can expect once it comes back for season 2.

These include the newly reported confirmation that Talulah Riley, who plays the host named Angela, has been promoted a series regular for "Westworld" season 2.

Riley previously appeared in only six from a total of 10 episodes during the show's first season. The actress's character is mainly in charge of being the welcoming committee in Westworld for many decades.

Her character, Angela, certainly captured William (Ed Harris), also known as the Man in Black, since she was the first host he met during his younger days. She was last seen knocking out William in season 1, but with Harris confirmed to reprise his role for season 2, this means that William will still be alive, despite being at the wrong end of an angry mob.

Her character description, however, ends on a dark note, with HBO saying that "Angela will prove to be one of the last faces many guests will ever see."

That possibly hints that the character may have indeed turned into one of the rebel hosts at the edge of the woods by the end of season 1.

Riley is also known for her roles in "Pride & Prejudice" and "Inception." She also married and divorced famous billionaire, Elon Musk, not just once - but twice.

Nothing much is known about the second season of "Westworld," except that it is most likely coming by 2018. Speculations, however, involve the inclusion of several Samurai hosts since the final episode revealed a lab full of them.

Furthermore, HBO reportedly reserved two domains, namely exploresamuraiworld.com and exploreshogunworld.com, possibly in preparation for "Westworld's" second season.
