Black Friday 2015 Best Deals: Shopping Frenzy Expected Again This Year

The holidays are fast approaching and among the days which people in the U.S. are eagerly awaiting is Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving Day. This marks the day when holiday shopping starts, which also means loads of deals and sales for those who want to save on their holiday shopping. A report in Fortune breaks down four of the best deals for Black Friday 2015, which is based on a report from DealNews.com, a known aggregator of online deals.

According to the report, DealNews predicted the four best deals available this year, with electronics still leading the pack once again.

HDTVs, especially the big 60-inch ones, are reported to be the best deal of the season. DealNews predicts that HDTVs can go for as low as $549, especially for those from not-so-known brands. For known brands such as Sony and Samsung, a set can possibly go as low as $775, which is still considered a steal. As for other TV sizes, they will be on sale as well but not as many as the 60-inch HDTVs.

The next best deal is with laptops, which the report said can go as low as $149 for budget laptops and $300 for mainstream laptops. In 2014, the price dipped to $99 for budget laptops and according to the report, this may still happen this year. Discounts may also be available for high-end laptops and are projected to be at 30 percent.

Tablets are also expected to bring in a lot of discounts during Black Friday week. The report cited that this may be through resellers such as Best Buy, Amazon and Target. Tablets from Apple, Android and Windows will likely go on sale. The iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 4 may be sold for as low as $300, while the iPad Mini 2 may go as low as $199, especially with the recent release of new generation Apple devices.

The last area cited in the report is not hardware but streaming services and accompanying products. Given the tight competition between Google, Amazon, Roku and Apple, the report predicted that products such as Google Chromecast will sell for $25, Amazon's FireTV Stick for $20 and older generation AppleTV boxes will go for $50.
