In this September 2013 video by Hannah Evans, an ailing grandmother is blessed by a heavenly rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," rewritten by Kelly Mooney to tell the story of Christ's death and resurrection. As the lead vocalist plays a harp for accompaniment, Nan and nurses alike are rendered still at the joyful sound. Skilled technique on the harp, combined with spot-on falsettoes, make the performance indeed angelic.
When the song ends, one nurse can only say, "That's really beautiful." Agreed.
