With the House of Cards Season 2 release date imminent - becoming available Feb. 14, 2014 - many fans of the hit Netflix series are asking what time will the new season be available for streaming online?

Netflix has confirmed that all 13 new episodes will be made available for fans on Valentine's Day on Feb. 14, 2014, and it can now also be confirmed that the episodes will become available at 3.01 a.m. ET.

That means many fans will be left wondering whether it's possible to squeeze in a viewing of the first episode or two before heading out to work.

Many others though may decide to wait until Friday night to settle down with a loved one for Valentine's Day to race through as many episodes together.

Kevin Spacey has strongly promoted Netflix's standard of releasing entire seasons of shows all at once, saying that they are giving fans what they want.

Spacey previously said to Digital Spy: "We didn't start bingeing but I think we are of course the first series that's ever given away entire seasons at one time, and I think it goes to say how much an audience is really digging being in control and being able to treat a series the way they treat a novel; pick it up when they want to pick it up and put it down when they want to put it down."

Season 1 was left on a cliffhanger, and was widely praised by critics across the board. Fans quickly grew to "love to hate" Spacey's main character, and even though Francis Underwood was ruthless, selfish and at times pure evil, viewers found themselves cheering him on in his quest for power.

Fans will also be delighted to hear that House of Cards has already been given the all clear for Season 3.
