Whitney Houston's Last Song 'Celebrate' Released (VIDEO)

Whitney Houston's last recorded song "Celebrate" has been released and fans are hailing it as being reminiscent to that of the late singer's 1980's pop numbers which helped launch her career.

The song is featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming remake of the film "Sparkle," which stars Jordin Sparks, and is scheduled for release in August.

The three-and-a-half minute audio features an upbeat tempo in conjunction with both Houston's and Sparks' faultless vocals, and the lyrics focus on celebrating and loving life, according to Direct Lyrics.com.

"Everybody's been so uptight and forgetting to live the life/Let all the problems get them down/Till they make you wanna shout," Houston sings.

"See everybody's been down in luck/Now finally things are looking up/The sun is chased all the rain away/No more obstacles in our away," she sings.

Houston, who died from accidental drowning on Feb. 11, performed the final song just four days before her untimely death.

In the upcoming movie "Sparkle," Houston plays the role of Emma who is the mother of Sparkle Williams (Sparks), a young girl who is struggling to become a star.

"Sparkle" wrapped up filming just three months prior to Houston's passing and as a result producers will dedicate the film to honor the late singer.

The film marks Houston's fourth and final feature film role; and at Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards 22-year-old Sparks paid tribute to Houston with her own rendition of Houston's timeless classic "I Will Always Love You."

Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was reduced to tears during Sparks' performance and also took to the stage where she remembered her mother.

"I just wanna say thank you, to everyone who supported us through it all. Not just from when it was good but when it was bad too...just everything. Thank you so much for show that much love because she deserved it...she did," Bobbi Kristina told the star studded audience.

"I'm just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman's life. There will never be another one...ever and I thank you the fans everyone. Thank you so much," she added.
