Whitney Houston's Mother Cissy Houston Speaks About Granddaughter Bobbi Kristina: 'We're Still Praying'

Cissy Houston, mother of R&B icon-singer Whitney Houston, recently speaks up about the condition of her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, this week saying "we're still praying."

In a new interview with New York radio station WBLS FM 107.5 on Wednesday, March 25, the 81-year-old matriarch recognized the support pouring over her Bobbi, who remains in a medically induced coma.

"I feel every bit of it," Cissy said. "I truly do."

Bobbi was reportedly being moved from Emory University Hospital after her seven-week stay at an Atlanta medical facility.

"She's the same," Cissy said about the 22-year-old. "We've moved her to a place for rehabilitation. And you know, still not a great deal of hope. [We're] still praying."

From what it seems like a hopeless case, Bobbi's grandmother seemed to have learned to accept the dire situation and opted to leave it all to God.

"I don't pray like that. I give it to God one time, because I know he's able," she continued. "And I cannot change a thing. I'm asking everybody: 'Just pray to the Lord who we know CAN do something about it.'"

The interview went on to reveal that the family is already prepared for what might happen to Kristina.

"If he works a miracle, thank God," she said. "If it happens the other way, I'm alright."

On Jan. 31, the daughter of the "I Will Always Love You" performer and Bobby Brown was found unresponsive inside her home at Roswell, Ga. She was found by her friend who immediately called authorities about Bobbi's condition.
