Wii Fit U Price Slashed by 28 Percent, Find Out Where to Buy

The Wii Fit U is now available at 28 percent cheaper than its normal rate.

Amazon.com is now selling the Nintendo console's accessory for just $64.99. It normally retails for $89.99 so this is a significant discount that will save buyers money.

The Wii Fit U works together with the system's GamePad controller, Balance Board accessory, and Fit Meter to track player's daily activity including calories burned, steps taken and elevation changes.

The software that comes with the accessory allows players to create routines, review their progress and compare with friends in online Gym Communities and the Miiverse. It is a great tool to keep gamers and those stuck in the house in shape. The original Wii Fit was responsible for making the original Wii a huge hit after its release.

Despite having a solid library of games, innovative technology and some great accessories, the Wii U is still suffering in the gaming market.

The Wii U sales were less than impressive in the U.K. for 2013 as Nintendo's latest console was outsold by the struggling PS Vita.

This is an impressive feat for the PS Vita as it was still able to beat out the Wii U despite a 41.5 percent sales drop from 2012.

The best-selling system in the U.K. wasn't even a home-based console. Nintendo managed to score a solid victory with the 3DS as the combination of the original, 3DS XL and 2DS helped the company to have the highest selling gaming system in the country. The Xbox 360 was the second highest with the PS4 in the third spot and PS3 in the fourth.

Video game hardware sales were up by five percent in units thanks to the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One.
