'Will & Grace' Season 9 Spoilers: Jack Finds Out He Has a Grandson

The upcoming episode of "Will & Grace" season 9 will see Jack (Sean Hayes) finding out that he is a grandfather.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Grandpa Jack," states that Jack will discover that his estranged son, Elliot (guest star Michael Angarano), already has a child. Jack will, of course, be shocked to find out about Skip (guest star Jet Jurgensmeyer), who will require the help and guidance that only Jack and Will (Eric McCormack) will be able to offer. Although it is unconfirmed, this could mean that Skip is gay.

Elsewhere, Grace (Debra Messing) and Karen (Megan Mullally) will start working with an attractive new guy. His presence will cause the two ladies to behave poorly.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens at Will and Grace's apartment. Jack is in a robe and opens the door to Skip, whom he does not know is his grandson at this point. Skip fills him in, and everyone, including Jack, is stunned by the kid's news. Skip asks whether he can address Jack as "grandpa," and Will encourages it greatly.

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "Emergency Contact."

Grace went through a cancer scare, though that was the least of her worries in the episode. After getting a biopsy, she was informed that her emergency contact was already there. To her surprise, it was her ex-husband Leo (Harry Connick Jr.). She quickly realized that Karen failed to change her emergency contact back to Will after her divorce.

Leo accompanied Grace home and then implied that their marriage did not work out because of her friendship with Will. After some encouragement from her best friend, Grace marched over to Leo's office and explained that their marriage did not fail because of Will. Leo surprisingly agreed, before putting the blame on Grace instead. She realized that Leo was right. Their marriage failed because she never really forgave him for cheating on her.

"Will & Grace" season 9 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
