William Shatner Sued for Harassing Former Employees

William Shatner is the subject of a lawsuit involving two former employees who claim that he purposely "harassed and berated" them while on the job. Shatner has yet to respond to the allegations.

Oscar and Delmy Alfaro filed suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, claiming that the harassment they suffered was so bad that they had to quit their jobs. Apparently, the couple refused to sign a waiver after an injury at Shatner's home.

Shatner and his wife, Elizabeth, then made life unbearable for the Alfaros, who had worked for them for 20 years, according to ABC. Finally, the Alfaros quit their jobs and filed the lawsuit for an unspecified amount. The couple is seeking retribution for mental anguish, as well as the loss of earnings and benefits.

It has been a rocky summer for the former "Star Trek" actor. In June, he was caught with his pants down at LAX Airport, when the loose-fitting apparel slipped from his waist during a security check.

"It was awful to have people looking at me with my pants down, probably the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me," Shatner told the Inquisitor. "It was a long flight, so I wanted to wear loose clothing because I didn't want anything to bind me," he explained.

Shatner recently made a return to the Priceline commercials after his character was killed in a bus crash. The "death" outraged fans, who immediately complained to the company.

"Oh boy, we heard from customers," spokesman Brian Ek's told the Business Insider.

Priceline executives began working to bring Shatner back in a new way. "There were 20 to 30 scripts on the wall of how we could bring the guy back to life. Everything was on the table from bringing him back as half robot, half man, to a reincarnation," explained Associate Creative Director Josh Leutz.
