'Wonder Woman' Spoilers: New Logo Appears; Chris Pine Taking On Dual Role?

The upcoming film "Wonder Woman" has released a couple of new teasers.

Even though "Wonder Woman" is still more than a year away from releasing, the logo for the upcoming film was finally revealed. The new logo for the movie was a gold "W." Prior to its release, another teaser was premiered. It showed the character of Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gabot, in disguise while facing the camera.

It was revealed that "Wonder Woman" is currently in production. With that, there has yet to be any announcement regarding what will take place in the upcoming film. There are rumors that the film will move from flashbacks to modern times.

However, fans can expect that it will be related to the DC Cinematic Universe. There are even speculations that "Wonder Woman" could be the film that begins the expansion of the DC Cinematic Universe.

Chris Pine will be taking on the role of Steve Trevor. There are speculations that he could also be portraying Trevor's grandfather as well. It was revealed that there will be a scene in the movie that will show Trevor's grandfather landing into Themyscira, which is a mythical world where the Amazon women live. That is where he will meet Diana and join in her mission to defeat Ares. However, he will eventually die, which will pave the way for Diana to meet his grandson, Trevor.

They will be joined by other stars such as Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Lucy Davis, and Elena Anaya. The film will be directed by Zack Synder, who has worked on past DC comic films such as "Man of Steel" and is currently involved in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Wonder Woman" is expected to release in theaters by 2017.
