Work Training Conferences for International Students start throughout Britain
The international student work training conferences, jointly organised by UCCF, IFES and Friends International, will be held from May onwards throughout Britain.
The purpose of the conference is to encourage, equip and motivate Christian Union (CU) friends to be involved in obeying God’s call to Mission. This will be through befriending and sharing the Gospel with students drawn from around the Globe who are studying at their Universities or Colleges.
Time will be spent on learning what the Bible says on crossing cultures, and sessions will be held on spreading the vision throughout the CU. Also two seminars were chosen by the participants; they are "evangelistic Bible studies amongst international students" and "discipling international students and helping returnees." It is a time to pray, think strategically and swap ideas with others.
