'World of Dance' Tour 2017 News: Live Performances to Kick Off on Oct. 17

The "World of Dance" Live Tour officially kicks off next month, featuring performances from the NBC show's season 1 cast.

Starting this October, fans can see the "World of Dance" season 1 perform live on stage. Tickets are now available for the event, which runs until November of this year. Unfortunately, the tour will only be held in Northern American cities.

"We are proud to introduce the WOD Live tour that provides dynamic showcases by the dance industry's elite dancers touring 14 cities around the country celebrating creative expression in all its forms. Join us for high energy, spectacular shows designed to get the audience engaged and on their feet," said Dave Gonzalez, president of World of Dance, in a press release.

Reports note the first live show will be on Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. at The Molson Canadian Centre at Casino New Brunswick. The final leg of the tour will be on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. at the City National Civic in San Jose. It is still unclear whether judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough will be a part of the live tour.

It was recently confirmed that Diana Pombo and Eva Igo — who both attended the World of Dance Celebration event last week — will be part of the show. Joining them to tour around the country are Nappy Tabs (Tabitha and Napoleon D'umo), Luka and Jenalyn, Super Cr3w, Elektrobotz, DNA, and Mihacevich Sisters.

The D'umos are best known for serving as executive producers and supervising choreographers on "America's Best Dance Crew." They have also worked as choreographers on "So You Think You Can Dance." The duo is currently on NBC's "World of Dance" as co-executive producers, as well as ABC's "Boy Band" — both of which just wrapped their seasons with good ratings.
