Wargaming is currently rolling out the new updates for their massively popular multiplayer online game "World of Tanks."

According to the site, the "World of Tanks" Patch 9.5 introduces a host of British-themed "dogs of war" including the iconic tank US M4 Sherman, which was recently featured in the Brad Pitt-led World War 2 movie "Fury."

GameNGuide.com further detailed out the British tank tech tree update which featured vehicles like the Archer, with its backward facing gun, the powerful and agile Charioteer, and the FV4005 Stage II.

Also included in the tech tree are two new medium tanks like the Sherman II and the Grant, as well as two additional light tanks namely the M2 and the Stuart I-IV.

The new patch, as reported by the site, also adds three new maps. They are:

  • The ruined settlement of Mittengard
  • The desolate Ghost Town and
  • The snow-covered Winterberg

Moreover, the "World of Tanks" 9.5 update will pit players to engage in the new Personal Missions mode. This mode allows tankers to choose the missions they want to take on and accomplish. This is different from the current Mission structure.

GameNGuide also cited the revamped look of the in-game mini-map which was enhanced further to give players a better understanding of the battlefield they are in.

"You can now see which direction your camera is pointed (all the better to spot you), your sector of fire - which shows off your max range and a new 'last seen' indicator which will clue you into enemies who have moved out of visible range," the site discussed.

The 9.5 Update is already rolling out for North American and European region. On the other hand, it will arrive for Asian and Korean players on Dec. 23 and 30, respectively.
