Johnson first returned on Monday Night RAW last week as he went up against Rusev and beat the latter. He told his fans, through his Twitter, how excited and happy he was to return in the wrestling world.

"Nothin' like havin' fun and talkin' sh*t in the 3rd person.. THANK YOU for this epic night. #PeoplesChamp," the 42-year-old "Hercules" actor said.

In related news, WWE legend Hulk Hogan has been reported to be rooting for a match against the younger John Cena in the forthcoming event.

Dave Meltzer, from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, said in his report that this could be Hogan's retirement match.

"Hulk Hogan has pushed for a match with Cena," Meltzer writes. "If he's willing, and can pass the physical, they could do a retirement match. Hogan hasn't wrestled at a WrestleMania since 2003 and will be almost 61 at match time, so if he can't do it this year, that should be it."

Should the rumors be put in fruition, Bleacher Report said that this could be a huge pay-per-view event and will surely make the headlines.

"WrestleMania XXXI" will take place on March 29, 2015 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
