WWE 2K14 just released their newest DLC, the WWE Superstars and Moves Pack, which includes character additions and over 30 new moves and taunts for $7.99.
The additions to the roster include Big E Langston, Fandango and Summer Rae, along with the Bella Twins – Nikki and Brie.
"It was kind of surreal being immortalized in a video game," said wrestler Big E Langston to The Miami Herald. "I've been a gamer for longer than I can remember. Actually, being able to play as myself before the game came out was really cool. I was just amazed at how much they nailed me and how the likeness was spot-on. Simple things like the chalk residue that was on my hands throughout the match, it is such a surreal experience to be in a videogame."
2K Games' last DLC, NWO and Accelerator, left many users who downloaded the pack complaining about data loss issues for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The marketing manager of the game confirmed that the DLC may cause the team settings of Universe Mode to revert back to the default settings, and the developers are working to fix the problems.
2K has released a temporary fix for the problem to prevent the glitch from occurring and to help gamers keep their saved progress intact.
As per WWE2K.com, they posted to first download the DLC from the WWE Shop in the game, then exit back to the main menu. Then they said to navigate out of the game completely before returning and playing normally. These steps should allow the player to continue without losing any progress.
The DLC became available on Nov. 12, and featured wrestlers The Giant (Big Show), Scott Hall (Razor Ramon), Kevin Nash (Diesel), Macho Man Randy Savage, Syxx, Curt Henning (Mr. Perfect), and Scott Steiner.
Hogan is already in the game and the Giant can be downloaded for free. The "Accelerator" portion of the pack will unlock all of the items and customizable attributes.
The DLC is only $9 but can be acquired with the season pass as well. The season pass will run $20 and will include three upcoming expansion packs that will feature new characters, items, and moves.
The game was released on Oct. 29.
